A vibrant nose of bright cherry, blackberry and violets complimented by aromas of white pepper. Palate Pure fruits of bright cherries and blackberries with white pepper and flint. Fine grained tannins on the palate with sage and wet slate. The fruit is persistent with an acidity perfectly suited to lamb, steak and braised meats.
Grapes for Garden of Eden are sourced exclusively from the high elevation Eden Valley. This results in pretty red fruit characters, spice and fine tannin structure. This region of Barossa has always been important for St Hallett and has contributed to most vintages of the flagship Old Block Shiraz.
